New Technical Coordinator for UK Chapter

London 1st January 2007 --> After having acted as Technical Coordinator for the UK Chapter of IAI since its formation, Jeffrey Wix stepped down from this role on 1st January. He is taking on a more active role in the development of the Information Delivery Manual, an exciting new approach that is bringing together work on business process definition and IFC development, and in leading the development of Standards. Nick Nisbet, who has been active in leading IFC implementation work in the UK will take over the role of Technical Coordinator. For further information, contact Nick Nisbet

UK Chapter joins EU project

Brussels 1st September 2006 --> IAI UK is joining with other Chapters in Europe and internationally as a partner in the EU funded STAND-INN project. This is a projects within the Europe Innova programme that is looking at how Standards can be used to drive innovation in public and private procurement and particularly in relation to service life planning. A key activity of the project will be to assist in developing a Standard for the provision of service life data for life cycle and sustainability analyses, topics that are of significant interest in the UK market.
