The
Network on Information Standardisation, Exchanges and Management in Construction
(SIENE) was established in March 2000 to streamline information exchanges
and interoperability in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC)
industry in the UK. The project is funded by Engineering and Physical Sciences
Research Council (EPSRC) under the Innovative Manufacturing Initiative (IMI).
The SIENE academic and industry team's expertise in information standardisation
and exchanges is of international reputation. They represent a wide spectrum
of institutions in the UK and overseas. |
