The Visualisation and Virtual Reality is being chaired by Ken Millbanks, Construction Director of Six Continents (formly Bass Leisure Retail), a large client organisation in the UK construction industry. The main aim of the group is to bring the research of academic and commercial institutions in VR hardware and software to the attention of the industry. This is done by visiting centres throughout the UK and showing how VR and Visualisation techniques can help the construction industry improve its performance as highlighted in the Egan Report.
